    Citi Preferred Diamond Card

Best for: a long period of 0% APR for transferring a balance

When it comes to perks and benefits, the Citi Diamond Preferred card is pretty simple. Simply put, the Citi Diamond Preferred card has one of the longest 0% APR periods for purchases and balance transfers. It’s hard to find a better card than this one.

After you open the card account, you’ll get a 0% APR on balance transfers for 21 months and a 0% APR on all purchases for 12 months. After that, the APR will range from 15.99% to 25.99%. This means that you can transfer a balance and not pay interest for more than 50% longer than with most balance transfer cards.

This card also doesn’t have an annual fee, so it’s a great way to keep your interest costs and other costs down. The card has a few small extra benefits, like free access to your FICO score and tickets to Citi Entertainment events, but the main reason to get it is for the 21-month introductory balance transfer period.

    Card Citi Rewards+

    Most useful for: ThankYou points

There are many kinds of rewards, and some customers like to get them in the form of ThankYou Rewards points from Citi. If you want to get more ThankYou Rewards points, you should give the Citi Rewards+ card a lot of thought.

Even though this card’s bonus categories aren’t very high, there is no annual fee, which makes it a good addition to your credit card collection.

In particular, the Citi Rewards+ card gives you double ThankYou Rewards points at grocery stores and gas stations for the first $6,000 you spend each year. After that, you get one point for every dollar you spend on everything else. Every purchase you make is also rounded up to the nearest 10-point increment automatically.

The two bonuses you can earn may give you the most points, though. You can get 20,000 bonus points as a sign-up bonus if you spend $1,500 in the first three months of having the card. You’ll also get 5x ThankYou Points on restaurant purchases up to $6,000 in the first year.

The Citi Rewards+ card has a 0% introductory APR on purchases and balance transfers for the first 15 months. After that, the variable APR will be between 15.74% and 25.74%.

    Citi Simplicity Card

    Best for: Fee avoidance

The Citi Simplicity card is one of the few cards on the market that has the same 21-month introductory balance transfer period as the Citi Diamond Preferred card. It also has the same 12-month introductory APR on purchases as the Citi Diamond Preferred Card. After the introductory period of 0% APR, the Citi Simplicity card’s APR will range from 16.99% to 26.99%.

But what many cardholders like most about this card is that there are no late payment fees or penalty interest rates. Not only does this card not have an annual fee, but it is also one of the least expensive on the market.

The card does have a few other small benefits that are common to many other cards, such as access to your FICO credit score, flexible payment date options, and no liability for unauthorised charges.

    Citi Double Cash Card

Best for: Cash back in general

The Citi Double Cash card lives up to its name because it gives you 2% cash back on everything you buy. The payout structure isn’t quite that simple, though. When you use the card to buy something, you’ll get 1% cash back, and you’ll get another 1% cash back when you pay your bill. But since most responsible cardholders do pay their bills on time, the card gives users 2% cash back on everything they buy.

The card does have a few extra perks, such as an 18-month 0% APR on balance transfers only, not on purchases. After that, the APR ranges from 16.24% to 26.24%.

The card also doesn’t have an annual fee, which makes the 2% cash-back rate seem even better.

    Citi Custom Cash Card

Best for: Getting cash back in a certain area

Cash-back credit cards are popular, but it can be hard for cardholders to keep track of which types of purchases they should make to get the most rewards. The Citi Custom Cash card takes the guesswork out of this by giving you 5% cash back on your top spending category each month, up to the first $500 you spend, and 1% cash back on everything else.

For example, if you’re remodelling your home and spend the most money on home improvements one month, you’ll get 5% cash back on the first $500 you spend in that category that month. When the remodelling is done, you might spend the most money on food. In that case, you’ll get 5% cash back on the first $500 you spend on groceries.

It’s a great way to get rewarded for what you actually spend money on without having to figure it out yourself, and there’s no annual fee.

The card also has a good sign-up bonus of $200 cash back after spending just $750 in the first three months after opening an account. If you want to transfer a balance, you can get a 0% APR on balance transfers and purchases for 15 months with the Citi Custom Cash card. After that, the APR will be between 16.24% and 26.24%.
